Scottish Cycling Magazine features Matilda!

What excitement there has been in Matilda’s Rest the past day or so…..

We – the “old git”, the “old gal” and of course me – have become something of cycling celebrities!

We have all been featured in Scotland’s national cycling magazine – Scottish Cycling – in an article to promote the joys of tandeming, and get more people to give it a try.

Whisper it, but it seems the “old git” is good with words – must be something to do with his profession! – and offered to write an article for the magazine on our return from our adventures in Burgundy.

And the results have just been published in the Spring 2015 edition which features a blurb on the front cover saying: “Bicycles made for two – double fun on a tandem.”

Then you turn to page 25 and there we are under the heading: “On a bicycle made for two – the joys of doubling up.”

Take a look here – read the article and admire the picture:

Scottish Cycling Magazine Tandem Article

Don’t tell the “old git” but I have to say he is quite good at the journalism thingy and the “old gal” and me have been basking in the glory of people reading the article.

As an added bonus Scottish Cycling Magazine has even printed  a direct link to my blog – so I can welcome even more readers to Maildas Musings.

And I am secretly quite chuffed to be featured in such a prestigious cycling publication – you see now that I am an “old lady” I think it is only proper that I am clearly now a very real part of the cycling world ! I mean it says so in print !

Perhaps now more people will recognise us on our travels and say hello !
